Please enclose a self-addressed “LetterPack (レターパック)”, and send it to the address below, including a note stating the name of the admission guidelines and program (Master’s/Doctoral), and your contact information such as your name, phone number, and email. Clearly write in red on the envelope the name of the admission guideline.

Academic Year of 2025-2026
- Prior to submitting your application documents, applicants who have graduated from a university outside of Japan need to undergo a screening by the Admission Assistance Office (AAO), Kyoto University. For details, access the AAO website above directly.
Applicants must have approval of the professors/associate professors of the Graduate School of Informatics, Kyoto University prior to submission of the application materials to the Student Affairs Division. - Please ask a faculty member who has given his/her informal consent for the research guidance to obtain the necessary forms for the application.
